• Arc Fatigue: Many people were hoping that Dig would finally deal with that little item he encountered at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths, especially since he implied that he was going to do so at the end of his previous appearance on Flash. Unfortunately, he still seems to be dragging his feet.
  • Due to delays in production his Superman & Lois appearance aired later than intended and is set before his appearance on the Flash.
• Informed Wrongness: Once again, Sam is painted in a negative light for wanting Irons to build his red sunlight missile, which will likely kill Superman. Sam brings up that he is not equipped to deal with multiple evil Kryptonians and needs to prepare for the worst case scenario. Even though he obviously would not want to kill Clark, he's still painted as in the wrong for wanting to safeguard humanity and prevent what happened in John's world to happen to here. That said, Sam is allowing himself to get swept up in John's It's Personal. Since Edge is the real Big Bad, and he does not really need Superman in order to continue with his plans (he has the Eradicator), killing Superman would not actually stop his plans. It would just satisfy John's craving for revenge against his universe's Superman.
