• Ass Pull: Supernova is introduced as being callous and single-mindedly focused on taking her revenge on Spider-Man for trapping her in a container to rot. She shows a complete disregard for collateral damage and nearly kills hundreds of people while trying to roast the wall-crawler. So readers quickly scratched their heads when she suddenly shows concern for Spider-Boy after accidentally collapsing a building on top of him. She even moves the rubble crushing him despite lighting him on fire without remorse moments before.
