• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Steven yelling at Garnet and Pearl for keeping secrets from him becomes a lot harsher after "A Single Pale Rose" reveals that Pearl literally cannot tell Steven anything about the events surrounding Pink Diamond's shattering, no matter how much she wants to. She even has her hands over her mouth for much of the scene, making it clear on a rewatch that she's trying to say it.
  • Blue Diamond's grief over Pink Diamond's death is sad enough on its own, but after "Can't Go Back"...
