• Harsher in Hindsight: The way Mackenzie focuses on the idea that Daniel's insanity may link to the Stargate seems a bit more extreme when considering the later revelation that Daniel's grandfather was currently in a psychiatric institution himself (albeit one he checked himself into), establishing that Daniel could have succumbed to schizophrenia due to family history rather than a side-effect of the Stargate.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: O'Neill's flat skepticism at Daniel's theory of the Goa'uld turning into energy beings becomes pretty funny when you consider just exactly what would happen to Daniel himself a little over two years later.
