• Harsher in Hindsight: The multiple sexual assault accusations levied against Robert Knepper makes his timid, Nice Guy role here rather uncomfortable to watch.
• Retroactive Recognition: Veteran character actor Robert Knepper was only a year into his acting career at this point. He would eventually go on to specialize in playing creeps and toughs, so seeing him as a hunky romantic is odd.
• Special Effect Failure: Originally, that flower was supposed to change colors between scenes just like the dialogue says it will, but they couldn't get the effect to work and so it just stayed white, making the line nonsense. This has since been corrected for the HD remastering on Blu Ray, where the rose frequently changes color.
