YMMV / Star Trek Enterprise S 04 E 10 Daedalus

  • Ending Fatigue: Quinn's death seems like the obvious note to end the episode on, but after that happens there are still six minutes of the episode remaining; a good chunk considering Enterprise episodes are around 40 minutes long when you take out the commercial breaks.
  • Older Than They Think: While the idea of "transwarp beaming" that allows people to be transported across light years from Star Trek (2009) might seem ludicrously infeasible, this episode shows that the idea of such a long-range transporter existed in-universe (bearing in mind that the events of Enterprise canonically occur in both the original and reboot timelines) over a century before the events of the film. One could imagine that Scotty picked up on Emory Erickson's theories and managed to turn them into something workable.
