• Epileptic Trees: Given much later on in the show what we learn about Vulcan High Command being run by a Romulan dupe, the fact that in decades the Vulcans never told humanity about the Andorians or their beef with one another paints this episode in an interesting light, such as the Romulans engineering this so there'd be a disastrous first contact between the two species to cause more unrest in the Alpha Quadrant.
