- Game-Breaker: The double-shot ninja stars are the game's most broken weapon. Its spread shot covers a lot of area by default, and when charged up temporarily gives you four shots at once which shreds the bosses' health.
- Spiritual Successor: The cartoonish artstyle and gameplay makes it pretty much Joe & Mac (also made by Data East) in a modern setting.
