• Bizarro Episode: Basing an episode off Great Expectations with only one recurring character (who was disappearing from the show at this point) as the focus. It becomes even more bizarre when the Genesis Device is introduced and throws off the source material. Trey Parker himself said it seemed like a good idea at the time and has since disowned it because the transition didn't go as planned.
• Crosses the Line Twice: Pip's attempts to cheer up a bunch of men who have had their hearts broken by Mrs. Havishham, but everything he brings up makes them upset for one reason or another. The fact that Pip failed to cheer them up with stamp collecting because one man's father SOMEHOW died in a stamp-collecting accident is too absurd not to find funny.
