- Alternate Character Interpretation: Tracy and Travis are clearly ex-lovers, but there's no fan consensus on whether it was it a past relationship that is over by the beginning of the movie, an affair they both willingly had behind Becca's back, or Travis lying to Tracy that he and Becca had broken up after she left for college.
