• Cheese Strategy: The boss of Stage 1 can be defeated easily by just positioning yourself at the very top-center of the screen before it spawns. Its 3-way turret can't target you there so you don't have to dodge its shots, and you can blast it away with no danger there.
• Porting Disaster: While the NES version is considered a performance improvement over other Toaplan ports on the same system, running at 60 FPS, and it features an awesome soundtrack by Tim Follin, this version is not well-liked due to having an inconsistent and excessive hitbox for the player's ship, causing them to get killed by bullets that should've safely missed them.
