• Awesome Music: The series is well-punctuated by an amazing soundtrack that drew just as much as praise as the other aspects of the drama.
• Tear Jerker: Quite a few moments in the drama can count. Some of note are:
  • The murdered girl's mother has been standing on the same street corner, holding a sign asking who took her daughter for fifteen years.
  • Behind the comedic Batman image Cha Soo-hyun keeps on her desk is a photograph of her and Detective Lee.
  • Detective Lee sitting in a theatre, holding two movie tickets and crying inconsolably.
  • Detective Lee's utter devastation when he discovers that the fingerprints that he was told to arrest the suspect on the basis of were only partials. As a result of his arrest, the man was not with his daughter on a bus during a bridge collapse, and had to watch as she was left behind and died in the subsequent explosion.
  • A young Park Hae Young watching his beloved elder brother getting sent to prison.
  • The discovery of Detective Lee's bones in the present time.
  • Detective Lee failing to save Sun-woo before he is killed, and Hae-young realising that his brother wasn't saved.
