• Took the Bad Film Seriously: Inverted seeing as the movie was very successful with viewers, but failed to impress critics. Despite the negative reviews from critics, the performance of the cast, especially Stephanie-team Rebel Wilson and Angourie Rice, put their all in to the movie and many have praised the acting.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: While Stephanie is undoubtably selfish and needs to consider others, it seems those around her are expecting her to just grow up when she is essentially a 17 year old girl who woke up in the body of a 37 year old woman and missed out on the last 20 years of her life.
