• Designated Villain: Kramer, whom all he did was tell Mom and Pop about the wiring in the ceiling and then gets blamed when Mom and Pop end up having to shut their business down.
• Retroactive Recognition: The man who bought Jerry's shoes is Chris Potter.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Mom and Pop are the ones responsible for maintaining their building and making sure it's up to code. And when they attempt to get it fixed, the electrician tells them fixing it will cost a hefty amount, but because they're just scraping by, they end up shutting down the business. But instead of them owning up to their negligence, they just blame Kramer for their woes, when all he did was point out there was a problem. And the two taking Jerry's shoes to New Jersey with them and selling them does not make them any more endearing.
• The Woobie: Jerry. He did nothing wrong all episode only to get his shoes stolen, his tooth chipped, and accidentally ruins the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
