• Awesome Art: The short has been lauded for its animation. Although animated in Blender, the short was meticulously animated to resemble a Rankin/Bass production.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: The original version of the short has garnered mass attention due to Grey DeLisle, the current voice of Daphne, lambasting the short for its heavy use of AI-generated voices for most of the cast, going so far as to accuse Eagan Tilghman of theft and vowing to never work with him.^note It should be noted that at the time this controversy occurred, the actors union, SAG-AFTRA, had gone on strike partially due to the increasing prevalence of AI in the entertainment industry. However, the two later made amends, with Tilghman announcing he would redub the AI voices with human voice actors. When the re-dub was released in November, DeLisle praised the short and commended Tilghman for bringing in new talent.
