• Ass Pull: The twist that Jekyll really was Hyde all along and was trying to frame Helga leaves a lot of plot points unresolved. For starters, Hyde attacked Shaggy while Jekyll was in another room with the others.
  • The clue that exposes Jekyll is suction cups, which Hyde used to crawl up walls. Helga, being a former acrobat, famed for her "human fly act," wouldn't have needed them. Except Helga's a former circus performer, not Spider-Man! Even in real life, acrobats performing the "human fly act" would use magnets or some aid to scale walls.
  • Also, Jekyll's claims to be turning into his grandfather's own ghost...or that he's descended from a fictional character. One wonders how Sandy Duncan got the rights to do that movie...
• Genius Bonus: For what it's worth, in the original story, it's supposed to be a twist that Jekyll and Hyde are the same person, something lost to pop culture. This story manages to make it a twist ending all over again.
