Harsher in Hindsight: The scene where both Paris and the Notre Dame cathedral are engulfed in flames thanks to the Phantoms deploying Obscur in chapter 9 has become even sadder to watch since the real-life cathedral caught fire on April 15, 2019.note While Notre Dame did survive the fire with all of its art, rose windows, bell towers and religious artifacts not sustaining damage, the cathedral's famous spire and its roof were destroyed, which all led to a planned restoration.
The Woobie: Hanabi Kitaoji. Her fiance Philippe de Maleblanche died on their wedding day and Hanabi, for a year after his death, visited his grave every day.
