- Fair for Its Day: When Yoshiki first sees Fish Eye, he professes a belief that such a man transcends ideas of gender and that true femininity can be found in someone like him. Though Fish Eye is a villain who isn't above emotional manipulation and overstepping personal boundaries, to the point of outright assault, the idea of a male presenting villain being seen as someone who transcends the gender binary and played straight was thought provoking back in the 90s.
