  • Harsher in Hindsight: The series about Lana Del Rey struggling to write music with other female artists because of mutual animosity becomes awkward after Del Rey made a controversial Instagram post in 2020 about how she believed there was a double standard between her and other female music artists in the chart positions, which caused backlash over a variety of reasons, such as accusations of unnecessary name-dropping.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • A Glee Spoof episode features the girls of New Directions performing "Wannabe" as Finn pretends that he isn't enjoying the number, being a closeted Spice Girls fan. Then, on Glee season four, the episode about the glee club's "guilty pleasure" songs features the girls of New Directions performing "Wannabe" as Finn supervised as Mr Schuester's teaching assistant.
    • Episode 21 of Pretty Little Liars Spoof has a joke where Aria believes Alison has an evil twin and Spencer immediately dismisses the idea as one of Aria's ditzy moments. Soon after the episode uploaded, the twist of Pretty Little Liars was Spencer had a secret twin who is the final "A" of the show.
    • In their parody of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve jumps out of the plane without a parachute, but he faceplants onto the ground. Natasha tells him over the radio, "I recorded the whole thing, and that shit's going on YouTube." In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode, "The Star-Spangled Man", Bucky does the same thing, with Sam recording it through the Redwing camera.
  • Vindicated by History: According to SIMGM's Twitter, the Glee parodies were despised by many Glee fans upon initial release, but have since become rewatched and praised years later after Glee became available on streaming services.
