- Tough Act to Follow: Being asked to follow Rom: Spaceknight without access to any of the characters and ideas from the original run, not to mention the Marvel Universe which ROM was a major part of, was a tall order for anyone. Many people dismissed the series immediately knowing IDW was legally barred from using most of ROM's history and concepts.
