• Unintentional Period Piece: Despite being written in The '60s, very little in it is actually dated (except possibly the "science"). However, the soldiers who are called in to fight the beavers are referred to as Territorials or "Terriers," short for the Territorial Army (1921-1967). However, in 2011 it was renamed the Army Reserve.
