  • Do Not Do This Cool Thing: The commercials implore the viewer to "respect the [Capri-Sun] pouch" instead of destroying it, lest they be cursed just like the Disrespectoids, but they do quite funny things with the pouch that kids are bound to imitate. This may have been intentional reverse psychology, drawing attention to Capri-Sun's unique packaging and making it look more fun. Indeed, this was the intention of the campaign, and it's likely one of the first ad campaigns to use viral YouTube videos (unsolicited, no less!) as a launchpad for further recognition.
