- Moral Event Horizon: Yayoi crosses this either when she imprisons her own concerned mother in her sketchbook or when she turns on Cure March and imprisons her as well and promises to see her fear of bugs...
- The Woobie: Poor Yayoi. Between being bullied and what she ultimately becomes, it is very hard not to feel for her. Cure Happy becomes this too when we see her being broken by someone who was supposed to have been fighting side by side with her as her close friend.
