• Retroactive Recognition: Kate Mulgrew, who later became much better-known for the roles of Captain Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager and Red on Orange Is the New Black, plays a Damsel in Distress US Army major in the film.
• Special Effect Failure:
  • Remo uses the diamond in "Tiffany Tooth's" mouth to scratch the glass when the room fills with poisonous gas. He dives through to escape, but the glass shatters a split-second before he hits it.
  • When Chiun runs on the water's surface to join Remo and Major Fleming in a boat, you can clearly see what Joel Grey's running on. And it ain't water.
