  • Awesome Music: Nanako's cover of ''God Knows'' at the Art Festival.
  • Broken Base: Kyouya's decision in episode 12 to go back to the past and abandon his current future has proved divisive. One group criticizes him for running out on his future to go back to the past, essentially erasing his daughter Maki from existence. Another faction sees it as him sacrificing his happy future to help his friends and note that Maki isn't necessarily gone for good since Kyouya and Aki can still get together.
  • Designated Hero: Many fans see Kyouya this way, due to his decision to go back in time again to help his friends, even when doing so basically risks his daughter's existence.
  • Wangst: How some fans saw the Platinum Year kids burning out and Kyouya's reaction to it. It is sad that save for Kyouya and Eiko to an extent, no one was able to really pursue their dreams and all of their passion fizzled out thanks to Kyouya taking the reins. However, some fans think that their reaction is way too overblown; Tsuruaki became a doctor after dropping out and has his childhood friend to back him up, so despite him being exhausted his despair over not being able to write and his frustration over Kyouya presenting all of his future ideas before he even says them is seen as a lame excuse (especially since the 2010s became notorious for people from all walks of life churning out novels). Shiroaki quit the VN scene entirely, but Kyouya being saddened about her giving up her illustration career rings hollow when she's shown to be perfectly happy as a housewife with a child. Eiko's still in the industry, albeit with an incompetent's sexual harasser of a boss, and the only person who seems to have festered in the meantime is Nanako. This is even acknowledged in-story, when Eiko calls Kyouya on this, pointing out that regardless of his actions the other members of the group made their own choices.
