- Critical Dissonance: While Psycholonials generally received positive reviews on Steam, it's widely regarded as not living up to the legacy of Homestuck. Either that could be due to its political issues, its outlandish plot, or a general disregard for anything related to Hussie after The Homestuck Epilogues were released. It could also be a result of being Too Bleak, Stopped Caring, as the plot gets so grim that it's easy to drop reading it entirely.
- Designated Hero: Z. She goes on a cop massacre, causes the death of Percy, starts a clown cult of alien origin, goes to war against America, and is generally a despicable person overall, who doesn't even care about the destruction she causes and ultimately escapes to Fiji with Abby, never getting punished the chaos she caused.
