• Special Effect Failure:
  • Lots of clipping errors, and the dinosaur skins are rather flat. And the contrast in quality between the stock footage and original clips is quite jarring.
  • The CG tsunami in the Washington D.C episode sticks out like a sore thumb.
• Stock Footage Failure: Due to stock footage, Daspletosaurus becomes T. rex (wrong), Ceratosaurus becomes Allosaurus and Albertosaurus (also wrong) Allodaposuchus becomes a primitive amphibian (also also wrong), Anatotitan becomes a Jurassic Dinosaur (also also also wrong), Zuniceratops and Einiosaurus become Triceratops (also also also also wrong), Dilophosaurus and Anchisaurus become Cretaceous dinosaurs (also also also also also wrong, although Anchisaurus could be mistaken for a primitive ornithopod), and T. rex becomes Albertosaurus (also also also also also also wrong).
• Visual Effects of Awesome: The fur effects are quite good, and the Columbian Mammoths look rather realistic.
