• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Antonia, Plutarco's wife. She is an obese and insecure woman who loves her husband, unaware that he hates her, cheats on her with another woman and that he married her only for her money. She could have discovered the truth, separated from Plutarch, doing her best to take revenge on him and Rebeca. At the same time, she could have gained more self-esteem, become a more confident woman, and even achieved a boyfriend who truly loves her. Instead, the writers preferred to be faithful to the original soap opera and killed Antonia in a depressing manner soon after she discovered the truth about her husband. And besides, she still appears through the rest of the soap opera as a ghost haunting Plutarch, which is little considering the better arc she might have had.
