YMMV / Pontoffel Pock, Where Are You?

Go To

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: While he's not quite dealing with First-World Problems, is Pontoffel really so down on his luck that he deserves to be granted his flying piano? Sure, his house is in an awful state and he's unemployed, but only because he was too incompetent to work an assembly-line job. Even when he gets his piano, he uses it to be an airhog and is still apparently the only person who's even gotten a second chance with one.
  • Awesome Music: Would one expect anything less from the great Joe Raposo? Even better was the short switching from Dean Elliot's quirky jazz band score to a more traditional Hollywood orchestra.
"Load up the goomy gun!/Load up the goomy gun!/Load up the goomy gun!/Vee'll drive da pest avay!"
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Pontoffel, you had one job!
  • Tear Jerker: Pontoffel's song about the house of ill repair that his family left him, which we're clearly shown in all of its glumness.
