• Informed Wrongness: While using his most powerful Pokemon against a rookie like Casey might've not been an ideal choice, Misty and Brock, (and thus the episode itself) treats Ash as having been wrong to even beat Casey in battle and make her cry over it. However, this despite the fact that it was Casey who was antagonizing Ash first, just for giving his honest opinion about her favorite baseball team. Plus, she was insisting upon battling him even when Ash warned against it (given the vast difference in skill and experience), making Casey's loss a case of Foregone Conclusion that she brought upon herself.
