- Base-Breaking Character: Sho; some fans like him because of his very powerful Raichu who is clearly trained well considering it knows Volt Tackle and Hyper Beam. Some fans though despise him because he is arrogant and tried to catch Ash's Pikachu.
- Tear Jerker: Pikachu having a nightmare of Sho's Raichu taunting him.
