YMMV / Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension

  • Awesome Music: "Gotta Get Gone", a song wrote exclusively for the game, is just as upbeat and catchy as the other songs from the movie, as well as being a great recap of the film itself.
  • Broken Base: Which version of the game is better? The console version has better graphics and music, more creative level design and themes, more characters and gadgets, no required mini-games, funnier writing, and lots of references to the show. The DS version has more streamlined levels, more emphasis on platforming, higher difficulty (though it still isn't terribly difficult), follows the plot of the movie more closely, and features characters that were absent from the console version (including Doof-2 and the Platyborg).
  • It's Easy, So It Sucks!: The biggest complaint about the game is the lack of difficulty—platforming is extremely forgiving, combat is a complete joke, and it's nearly impossible to die.
  • No Problem with Licensed Games: It's not only very enjoyable to play, but also has all the original voice actors, humor that could have come straight out of the show itself, and a seriously cool song to go with it.
