• Alternate Character Interpretation: Is Saga truly an evil man who despised his brother enough to hurt him or was Saga molded by his cruel mother who hated Hira and never learned that his brother was someone who wanted to be loved?
• Ho Yay:
  • One-sided Tokiwa and Tamaki. Tokiwa greatly admires Tamaki and initially didn’t approve of Asahi being Tamaki’s girlfriend, saying he didn’t a girl like her was right for Tamaki.
  • Tamaki and Hira. There’s talk of how they’re drawn to one another and how Hira was touched by Tamaki saying he would wait for Hira to meet him for their final confrontation. Not to mention one of their final scenes together where Hira seemingly gives Tamaki a kiss on the lips when he agreed to stay in the sepulcher and let Asahi and Tamaki leave together.
