• Difficulty Spike: The final song of Stage 4, "Border Of Life", where it introduces two gimmick notes at once — black butterflies that must not be hit, and white butterflies that must be hit — which can reduce the player's health fast if they're not careful, especially the true last section, with its exclusive use of the butterfly notes. Even playing the song on Easy difficulty can prove to be a sudden spike for the casual non-rhythm gamer, since prior songs with gimmick notes, "Funky Capriccio" and "From Sado", generally have said gimmicks phased out for the difficulty, whereas "Border Of Life" doesn't offer that luxury.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In reference to Doki Doki Takeover!, the "Innocent Treasures" Omake has BF and GF introduce Monika to Renko and Maribel off-screen as a Call-Back to their prior misadventures. With the Plus update having Monika and company leave their visual novel thanks to BF and GF, it can be interpreted from the Omake that the Secret Sealing Club met Monika directly face-to-face, despite this story tidbit existing months prior to the DDTO's update.
