- Fair for Its Day: Due to being written in the 2000s, and likely due to being written by a cisgender person, some of the terminology and language is dated. While not usually considered transphobic, "transgendered" is now considered incorrect but was acceptable and even politically correct (compared to the then-common "transsexual") at the time. Some of Grady's dialogue also makes him sound more nonbinary than binary trans.
