  • Annoying Video Game Helper: Kulak, the Spetsnaz member who accompanies you throughout most of your journey to KROT-1, can be a bit of a nuisance. His AI can get stuck and you also have to keep him save from the monsters.
  • Awesome Music: The mod combines J.D's dark ambient and SLOT's rock music to create an amazing soundtrack that compliments the scary journey.
    • The army base has an appropriately relaxing and atmospheric theme for its Justified Tutorial section, giving the player a chance to enjoy a bit of normalcy before everything goes to hell.
    • This theme plays during the very first shootout and is more slow-paced and methodical compared to SLOT's frantic heavy metal bangers.
    • X-Stream is the first SLOT soundtrack that plays in the game and it gives you a massive boost of energy for some terrorist-killing fun.
    • Moving through Bodies is a short but ominous and atmospheric introduction to the depths of Udarnik's underground facilities.
    • Darkness Never Comes Alone is a blood-curdling ambient which sounds like alarm bells mixed in with chainsaw sounds, making it a perfect choice of music as you venture further down the abandoned, sinister hellhole that is KROT-1.
    • This unnamed soundtrack utilizes "Psycho" Strings to keep you on your toes as you dive head-first into the horrors of KROT-1 and anticipate the next wave of monsters.
    • Vertigo replaces fear and terror with pure adrenaline as you and your teammate mow your way through the monsters in the KROT-1 labs.
    • Middle of Path, despite its Non-Indicative Name, actually plays near the end after you have killed the Brain Tree. In contrast to other tracks by J.D. which are meant to build up the tension and horror, this one sounds very relieving and cathartic, letting you know that the nightmare is finally over.
  • That One Boss: The KA-50 chopper hijacked by the agents is very frustrating to deal with because you fight in open field with little cover, the RPG rockets cannot be guided and they are quite limited, and you also have to keep your teammate alive the whole time.
