- Awesome Art: Many people have commented on how pretty and detailed the graphics are, especially for an RPG Maker game (which often tend to have much more simple and heavily pixelated graphics).
- Base-Breaking Character: Jeremy is a divisive character. Some dislike him due him being pretty useless for most of the game and being too scared to help Zach look for Connor, even begging Zach to leave without him, which some see as cowardly. However, other players cut Jeremy more slack over this, arguing that not everyone is equipped to handle extremely stressful, life-or-death situations well and that they might've reacted the same under such circumstances. For what it's worth, Zach himself doesn't blame Jeremy for being scared.
- Nightmare Fuel: The monster that inhabits the island, natch.
