• Harsher in Hindsight: The quick brush-off of Zellana's death as a result of the trial isn't particularly hard on the reader initially as she was rude to Eve earlier, but it becomes more painful upon the revelation in ''Punishment' that Zellana had gone in Elluka's place because she feared her sister getting hurt.
• Squick: Even ignoring the incest problem, the revelation that Adam apparently mixed some of his own semen into the formula meant to impregnate Eve was something quite a few fans found disturbing.
• The Un-Twist: Was anyone really surprised when Horus turned out to be Seth?
