• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Since the entire story is told through Adrien's point of view, we never get to see what's really going on in Marinette's head throughout the ordeal. It would have been so interesting to see just how conflicted she was over lying to Chat Noir about what happened in the final battle when she learned how his failure to attend has affected him, or how devastating it was for her to learn that her partner and her boyfriend were one and the same under the worst possible circumstances, among other things.
  • Cerise as the new Butterfly villain. While she is active in the plot, texting Ladybug and Chat Noir about how the former is keeping secrets from the latter, and trying to akumatize Adrien when he nears rock bottom, she doesn't do that much more with her new powers from Nooroo. Even her capitalizing on the wedge the truth has driven between Adrien and Marinette was done as a civilian, and the story is more about Adrien realizing the truth and coming to terms with it.
