• Hilarious in Hindsight: That bit about fate becomes more meaningful when it was revealed that a relative of Luffy's had a similar relationship with the previous Pirate King Gold Roger not unlike to that of Luffy and Smoker's current relationship. It may have also been fate that brought Luffy to the town where the Pirate King died, and fate that Smoker was there that day in Loguetown — there to see the smile that would change his life forever.
