YMMV / Notte Prima Degli Esami

• Awesome Music: All the songs from the first film make a 1980s Cult Soundtrack, especially Venditti's "Notte Prima degli Esami" in the climax, and the catchy "The Final Countdown" by Europe.
• First Installment Wins: The sequel/remake (set in the 2000s instead of the '80s) is fairly controversial for several reasons. It lacks the endearing and nostalgic aspects of the first film, Giorgio Panariello as Luca's dad comes off as an annoying Spotlight-Stealing Squad and is not able to replace Giorgio Faletti as the charismatic Stern Teacher, and the film is barely about school or exams. All the protagonists are also much more unlikable and shallow.
