But it can be creepy for those semi-familiar with the fanfics Rainbow Factory (where rainbows are made from brutally-slaughtered pegasus ponies who have failed their flying exam) and Cupcakes (Sergeant Sprinkles) (where Pinkie is a deranged cannibal). Imagine how Cupcake Pinkie would've reacted if she learned how the rainbows are made...
• Hilarious in Hindsight: While exploring the weather factory, Rainbow Dash suggests they move on before Rarity ruins winter. Guess what Rainbow herself tries to do a few seasons later.
• Memetic Mutation: Pinkie tasting the rainbow liquid has been compared to Skittles commercials where the slogan is "Taste the Rainbow"
• Suspiciously Similar Song: The music Rarity chooses for her routine is very similar to the waltz from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
