• Diagnosed by the Audience: It's strongly implied that Seiji is autistic. He never speaks at all, never goes to school, and spends his days watching cartoons and playing toys. At one point, Noboru calls him a "retard kid".
• Nightmare Fuel: The whole of "Arrested Development" could probably be considered this, but Riek's final rampage is fucking terrifying.
  Reverend: What the hell is going on?
  Riek: I am. I am going on.
• Tear Jerker:
  • In his efforts to kill the Reverend and his men, Riek overexerts himself, blowing out his own heart.
  • Due to his Power Incontinence, Liam is seen as being to dangerous to be left alive, so the government seemingly executes him and blames it on terrorism he survives due to brief later appearances in X-Men: Legacy.
