  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Tsurumaru's portrayal here is very different from in Paraiso, even though the two plays were written by the same author and Paraiso was released as the main installment subsequently after this play. Not only does his whimsy seem sincere compared to in Paraiso where he's blatantly written to be a Stepford Smiler, but he's also less of an asshole, cuter, and more playful than he would be in later main installments, as well as kinder and more lenient toward his teammates. Tsurumaru's attitude toward Mikazuki is also very different; he seems to be more positive about him and calls him "Kimi," which is something that would be revealed to be what he used to call him when they were still friends, nowadays only referring to him as "Omae" and "Teme" out of resentment. As well, he seems happy that Mikazuki has come to help, claiming that Mikazuki is the only person who can surprise him in this way, contrasting how he lashed out at Mikazuki for similar reasons in Paraiso. Needless to say, the abrupt change in Tsurumaru's characterization left fans wondering if the writers simply decided to go a different direction with his character. However, if one factors in the fact that Tsurumaru had just returned from a long mission at the beginning of Kishou Hongi, it's also possible that he and Mikazuki hadn't yet had their falling out that would spark the sudden shift in his attitude, especially since Michi no Oku, Hitotsu wa Chisu would go on to reveal that a big part of Tsurumaru's current attitude is due in part to his situation with Mikazuki.
  • Continuity Lockout: Being a direct continuation of the storyline in Mihotose no Komoriuta, you have to have watched that play to understand what's going on here.
