• Harsher in Hindsight: The Billy statue Violet made for Bulk and Skull is wearing a golden colored version of the Mighty Morphin' suit. Now considering that Billy was the prime suspect of being the Gold Ranger in Zeo, this might seem like it was Hilarious in Hindsight. The reason it becomes harsh is that unlike on the show itself, behind the scenes the producers never gave the idea of him actually being the Gold Ranger the time of day. This was due to, according to Billy's actor David Yost, them thinking that as a gay man in real life, Yost wasn't worthy of being where he was as a Power Ranger i.e. a hero to children and the general public. Said discrimination lead to Yost walking off the show near the end of Zeo and the producers writing him out indefinitely.
