YMMV / McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure

Go To

  • Awesome Music: One of this game's most notable aspects is its absolutely metal final boss theme. You can tell here that the soundtrack team really went all out, creating something with so much rock in it that it almost becomes unfitting!
  • No Problem with Licensed Games: It says something about Treasure that they made a McDonald's game of all things work. All in all it is a pretty fun, whimsical and adventurous action game.
  • Quirky Work: In accordance with most games from Treasure, the game is rather...bizarre. Between a giant waterspout in which crown shaped wasps try to sting Ronald, a sentient cave opening its mouth to let Ronald inside, strange metallic fish chasing Ronald down a slope, a gargantuan tomato boss, a Circus train with pierrot clowns hidden inside mirror reflections, bunnies dancing ballet on the the train track to Swan Lake, sumo wrestlers causing earthquake fissures in a town, a pirate captain with huge lips, a suit of armor ready to go fisticuffs being defeated after jumping into a shredder and a final stage on a trippy moon, complete with a freaky alien ship featuring a living tree displaying every kind of emotion, it really does come across strange that the developers weren't on some form of recreational hallucinogenic.
