* BrokenAesop: If the core message of the series is that PantyFighter anime are perverted and immoral, then perhaps viewers would be more inclined to take the message seriously if it was made ''without'' using excessive amounts of nudity.

* UncertainAudience: This is a PantyFighter anime that harshly sends up its own genre, to the point that some see it as a massive TakeThat against the genre's fans. However, the show's rampant production issues, irregular pacing, and liberal use of the very same tropes it intended to criticize ended up turning away people who don't even like fanservice anime, with many reviews dismissing it as just another poorly written anime with more fanservice than plot.

* UncertainAudience: This anime is very clearly ''not'' intended for fans of the ecchi/PantyFighter genre (made very clear by the final episode). Ironically, however, the show ended up turning away people who don't even like fanservice anime, with many reviews dismissing it as another poorly written anime with more fan-service than plot.

This last sentence is a bit overdramatic, and feeds into the excessive complaining that got this page taken to the Removing Complaining Project thread.

Ironically, however, the show ended up turning away people who don't even like fanservice anime, with many reviews dismissing it as another poorly written anime with more fan-service than plot. In other words, this is an anime for absolutely nobody.

Misuse of the trope — an Audience Alienating Premise is about works that never had a shot at popularity because their core concept turned people off. This entry is just being used as another pretext to complain about the show.

* AudienceAlienatingPremise: It's a PantyFighter anime that turns into a TakeThat at people who like PantyFighter anime, but indulges too much in the elements that it's supposed to be criticizing to appeal to people who hate PantyFighter anime and thus ends up appealing to no one.

Entries removed for excessive complaining and little to no context — examples have to be clear on why the trope applies and how it's used, which none of these entries do.

* {{Anvilicious}}: [[spoiler: Sex slaves are bad. You are a sick, sick pervert for liking shows like this. You are a horrible person for liking girls beating each other up. And it gets worse from there.]]

* DoNotDoThisCoolThing: If the entire idea of the series is that PantyFighter anime are bad, then the sheer amount of nudity is probably the wrong way to go.
* MoralEventHorizon: The main architects behind the remade Platonic Hearts tournament: [[spoiler:Miko, Haruki and Natsume]]. Seeing as they're behind almost every single one of the horrific events that the tournament brings, most notably [[spoiler:the sexual slavery brought onto the losers]].
* {{Narm}}:
** ''Sure'' it's hopeful that the lady in red [[spoiler:can bleed over 15 liters of blood from her head]]. To cap it off, the brutality of Aya beating her is undercut by the standard punch sound-effects which just end up goofy.
** The ending [[spoiler:with Natsume's mother silent scream and black view, also known as the "Shallow Cheap Hentai Angst Ending" in the circles]].
** If you weren't down with this anime for the first four episodes then the {{infodump}}ed thirty twist pileup in episode 5 will make it all worthwhile. The fact that it comes [[ShockingSwerve completely out of nowhere]] helps too.
* ShockingSwerve: Episode 5 is the epitome of this since everything that happens in it is never foreshadowed in previous episodes.

Misuse — doesn't fulfill the criteria for Broken Base per the definition.

* BrokenBase: The final episode slamming the audience with a massive info dump and plot twist after plot twist that just stop making sense after a while. For some the show goes from a typically bad fanservice anime into gloriously incompetent SoBadItsGood territory. For others it just ends up tasteless and hateful both in its ideas and their presentation.

Neither slashed trope is YMMV.

* BrokenAesop / CluelessAesop: This series was made to criticize people who like ecchi anime, while at the same time indulging in huge amounts of fanservice in every episode, to the point where if one ignores the final episode, this show isn't all that different from any other fanservice-focused anime show.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: While the show had some admittedly good ideas, the bad writing, animation, and the fact that it wanted to tell something big in just 5 episodes (the last episode being the big reveal) killed any chance of this OVA being any good. Also, its blatant attempt to have its cake and eat it too made said last episode fall flat on its face.

WTH Casting Agency isn't just about good actors in bad works.

* WTHCastingAgency: Lots of viewers will have a really bad time believing that their favourite Funimation voice actors took part in this, namely Creator/ColleenClinkenbeard. On the Japanese side, there is Creator/AiNonaka. This was another major felony this anime had caused.
