• Harsher in Hindsight: In the first chapter, Torako remarks gleefully that Ojou's "living alone in a luxury apartment. No parents!" We already know that Garossu's mom is a mangaka who is literally constantly working, and with every detail we learn about workaholic, abusive, and murdered parents, the line gets a new wrinkle.
• The Woobie: Shaolong. In a just world she'd be kicking ass, but instead she's constantly overshadowed and fucking up. To the point that she believes she killed her family just by being born.
