YMMV / Magic in the Water

• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Josh comforting his distraught sister during their father's possession-induced illness.
  • Mr. Black comforting Ashley after the apparent death of Orky.
• Nightmare Fuel: Ashley, Josh and Hiro trying to control the Orky sub after stowing away on it, they end up torching a fishing boat and then losing all power and sinking and being unable to escape with the sub taking on water. By the time Orky finds them, the water is up to their necks.
• Tear Jerker:
  • Ashley breaking down over her father suffering accordingly due to being possessed by an increasingly ill Orky.
    • Josh's reaction is much worse, snapping at Ashley over Orky's existence and kicking over the Black family's sandcastle.
  • Ashley, Josh and Hiro becoming trapped in the out-of-control and sinking Orky sub and almost drowning.
  • The Black family and Hiro finally meeting Orky only for him to seemingly die soon after.
