• Harsher in Hindsight: While not in the same continuity, the Chariot apparition draining Yuuto of his magic can come off as eerie foreshadowing in light of the TV series, which reveals that the real Shiny Chariot accidentally drained Akko and Diana's magic when they saw her show as children.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In Chapter 3, Sucy gives Akko magic candy that would transform her to gain an advantage over the competitors, one of which gives her bunny features. Funny enough, a couple of years later in the TV series, Akko would accidentally gain bunny features due to a magic mishap. Later in that same chapter, Akko ends up shrinking and gaining mouse features from another candy, predating the mouse form she gets a couple of years in the TV series.
• Older Than They Think: While not the same design (as it's merely a humanoid Akko shrunken down and with mouse features), the manga is technically the first appearance of Akko's mouse form, preceding the TV series by a couple of years.
• So Okay, It's Average: The general consensus from the few who've read it. It’s not a bad manga, but it doesn't have much going for it and it doesn't capture the spirit of its source material as well as the other two manga did.
